Manning Market

This bustling market has been in operation for a long time and is the oldest in Sri Lanka. When you come here you can see how hardworking the locals are as they carry a range of goods through the market. Independence Memorial Hall

This outdoor monument honours freedom. It represents the freedom Sri Lanka attained from British domination. With statues lining the exterior, it’s a lovely spot. Since anyone can visit the area, openness could represent freedom.

BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall)

The itinerary continues on to BMICH. The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall is what the acronym stands for. The majority of Sri Lanka’s international conferences and events that take place throughout the island are held here. It is among the most well-known spots in Colombo.

Old Parliament House

The old parliament building which was constructed in the neo-baroque style was the location of the Sri Lankan government. It is currently a place where tourists can go and observe the uniqueness of this gorgeous location near the coast.
